Billing services
When utilising this service level, AMG will raise accounts after the event. This service is ideal for Anaesthetists who wish to outsource the non-income producing function of billing patients and third party providers.
AMG provides:
- Billing – directly to patients or third party providers
- Electronic claim submission to participating providers
- Receipting (payments received via EFT, EFTPOS or cheque)
- Monthly financial reporting
- Weekly transfers of reconciled funds received into Trust account
- Debt Collection – in the event of non-payment accounts are rigorously pursued
- Telephone and postage costs are included in the service fee
With the billing only service, Anaesthetists are required to make their own list arrangements, manage own schedule and provide patients with Informed Financial Consent.
AMG Fee:
For the billing only service, AMG charges a fee per invoice (per episode of care) - we don’t believe in charging a percentage of what you charge or bank. Your chosen RVG rate has no impact on your AMG fee – nor does it affect the commitment to quality service.
